About Me

I've been a full-time professional designer since 2002, beginning my career in print and graphic design at a print shop in Laramie, WY. As the internet was becoming mainstream, I transitioned to designing and building websites as a freelancer in Laramie and Boulder, CO. This experience shaped my approach to design: creating accessible, intuitive experiences that solve user problems while also advancing business goals. This philosophy led me to web and product design roles at Webroot, TrainingPeaks and DEPT® from 2006-2024.

Growing up near the mountains in Colorado and Wyoming gave me the opportunity to develop interest in many outdoor activities. I enjoy cycling, cross-country skiing, paddleboarding, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking and running to name a few. Cycling has been a big part of my life since I was young and I’ve done a lot of mountain bike, road and cyclocross racing over the years, though I’m most interested in gravel riding and racing these days.

Today, I live in Broomfield, CO with my lovely wife, son and two black cats.
